Joseph Okoro sound very much like a Nigerian Name.

Toronto police have identified Joseph Okoro, aged 21, as the victim in a fatal shooting in the Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue area on Monday evening.

Okoro was found suffering from gunshot wounds, shortly after 6:30 p.m.

He died in hospital.

No arrests have been made.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact homicide investigators at 416-808-7400, or to call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
